| The Left Hand of God |
Fidel Castro rides into town on a mule. He is wearing a poncho, a dust covered wide-brimmed hat and smoking an enormous cuban cigar. He is the anti-hero. The villains of the piece are the two feuding families at each end of the main street. The greedy capitalist Kennedys and the national socialist Hitlers. Castro is taken to the Kennedy's bosom when he kills a Hitler, but he later switches sides helping the Hitlers to avenge themselves. Ultimately both the Kennedys and the Hitlers fall victim to each other. Fidel, having established an independent communist state in the American Midwest, rides off on his mule into the sunset. |
